New Mexico Press Association Joins Column Partner Program

This week, Column is excited to welcome the New Mexico Press Association to the Column Partner Program. As the industry representative for New Mexico newspapers, NMPA will work with Column to bring Column's modern public notice tools to publications across the state.

Through this partnership, Column looks forward to supporting NMPA's mission of "defending and protecting issues important to not only the industry, but for anyone who supports transparency in government."

In the first stage of the partnership, Column will work with NMPA to unveil a new statewide public notice search site. This site will make public interest information easily accessible to the people of New Mexico by supporting the display of public notices online by local newspapers.

"We are excited to be working with Column to modernize public notice in New Mexico," said NMPA executive director Sammy Lopez. "We trust that Column will deliver the technology we need to make a compelling argument for the future of public notice, which will help NMPA protect the interests of our member newspapers."

Through the Column Partner Program, Column serves press associations as an aligned technology partner. As Head of Partnerships Kevin King explained, the program equips press associations with public notice publishing tools, modern statewide notice websites and a donations campaign platform.

"We created the Column Partner Program to serve as the technological muscle for press associations across the country. We share NMPA's commitment to supporting local journalism, and we believe this partnership will enable Column to help newspapers across New Mexico keep doing the important work of informing their communities through public notice," King said.
